What Is A Livernois MyCalibrator?
It is a device that connects to your truck that will program your engine’s computer for better than stock engine performance and smoother transmission shifting. It can also display engine performance data while you drive and can read diagnostic codes to help you troubleshoot and fix problems. These are also known as tuners, programmers, or code readers. The Livernois device is also referred to as “LMS” in the forums, that means “Livernois Motor Sports.”

How Does It Work?
Livernois’ MyCalibrator devices for the Ford F-150 connect to your truck in one of two ways depending on the model year. Devices for the 2021+ F-150s use an ECU connector to read/write from/to the engine computer. Devices for 2020 F-150 and earlier, use the OBD-II port for programming. All model years use the OBD-II port for monitoring and datalogging.
Who Does The Tuning?
Livernois Motorsports does all of their programming in house for the MyCalibrator devices. They do not allow tuning shops to build tune files for their devices. They test the calibrations/tunes on a dynamometer so you can be assured that you are getting a high quality tune that has been tested on an actual vehicle.

What Tunes Are Available?
Most people request a performance tune and/or a towing tune. You can request multiple tunes if you like. They can build adaptive octane tunes and tunes for E50/E85 as well. All you have to do is ask them and they will do their best to accommodate your requirements. When requesting tunes, be sure to list all upgrades, modifications, and the type of fuel and octane that you are using so they can adapt the tune to your specific setup.
How Do I Get One?
Go to the TL Tech Livernois page and select the MyCalibrator device for your model year.
Required Hardware
You will need a Windows computer with Windows 7 or higher to run the Livernois software. The software can be downloaded from Livernois website and it is used to transfer data to the MyCalibrator tuning device.
